I've eaten sushi in Japan, all over the US and other countries and Tuna House is the absolute best that I've ever tried. The location/ambiance, is not top-tier compared to the more expensive restaurants -- that's not to say its bad, but it's just not the best choice for a first date. The food however simply cannot be beaten. Manabu is talented and friendly and his ""Omakase"" chef's-choice is never a disappointment. I typically eat here 2-3 times per week, mostly for lunch. Their lunch menu is outstanding value, and it therefore can get very busy around noon -- go after 1pm if you don't like to wait. Make sure to try the volcano roll, the tear-drop roll and the toro (when available).
Pros: Reasonable prices, outstanding sushi of the highest quality and friendly/quick staff
Cons: Location in a strip mall and ambience not the best for a date
