We chose Dr. Wood on the recommendation of a friend and have had a great experience so far. All the staff (vets and techs) are genuinely caring, kind and gentle toward animals, and really respectful towards their customers too. Their services are affordable, and they'll be honest if you don't really need to buy a product or service (he told us we could actually wait another 6 mos to clean our dog's teeth). Dr. Wood is kind of ""old school"" -- he spends as much time as needed with each customer, and will usually advise you on home remedies as opposed to fancy products. We are new pet owners so we've had a ton of questions ... they've given me a lot of free advice over the phone. Best customer service. One time our dog ate some non-food items out of the trash 30 mins before we were leaving on a road trip ... in a hurry, we stopped by Dr. Wood's office on the way out of town, for a can of prescription high-fiber food, but I didn't have the $2 cash on hand. They just said, ""Don't worry about it, you can just pay us the next time you come in."" These folks make going to the vet a pleasant experience for all.
