Over the years I've seen my perspective shift from thinking of Red Lobster as a high-end dining experience to just another chinchy chain restaurant. We used to get dressed up to come here; I can't imagine doing so nowadays. The food's average at best but more than once I ordered the admiral's feast and saw my shrimp scampi was still either partially frozen or at least not hot. I have to admit, their cheesebread is awesome and worth coming for. I guess the reason my family thought of it as high-end was because of the prices; easily $15-20 a person which was a lot for us at the time. But of the different Red Lobsters I've been to over the years, this was not their best chain.
