This is one of our two favorite Indian restaurants in the Greater Hartford area. It is very small, but almost never crowded during the week. The surrounding neighborhood is marginal at best, but we park in front on the street. On our last visit we each ordered one of the special dinners that include a choice of soup, basmati pilaf, dal, kasundi, steam cabbage, desert and tea. I ordered the tandori chicken which is marinated in yogurt and spices. It was excellent, but I think my wife's lamb marsala was even better. Her's was pieces of lamb curried North Indian style (whatever that means) with tomatoes, onions and fresh herbs. Both meals were more than we could finish.
