Brand new place, still the first week. The food is very good, traditional New Orleans cuisine (according to a New Yorker). Gumbo, etouffee, ribs, jambalaya. I had the crab cake appetizer, which was amazing in its simple goodness. Also, the flaming bananas foster is a great cap to a wonderful meal. Quality pieces of chocolate came with the check (so much better than those typical dinner mints). It is BYOB pending a liquor license so bring your wine and beer for now. The staff was very friendly and the chef made it around to each table. The decor is well appointed and comfortable. All in all a very nice dining experience and we will definitely return.
Pros: Food, Ambience, After dinner chocolates
Cons: Slightly pricey, limited menu (but still first week of operation)
