I have been to many restaurants and this one just didn't cut it on numerous levels. Let's start with the service. No, wait...I meant lack of service. Our waiter really couldn't have cared less if we would have been standing on our heads in a corner somewhere or sitting with glasses needing to be refilled. He simply didn't care. Kind of tough swallow with the prices they charge.\r
Then comes the food. It was alright at best. The menu was very limited and extremely expensive. And then the price for a glass of wine on the menu was different from the price on my bill. Of course, my bill's price was higher for said glass. We ordered dessert and found it to be a way overpriced, cheap knockoff of a Cuban dessert called flan. A fancy and rich egg custard with caramelized sugar. Unfortunately, this dessert didn't make the grade.\r
Finally, to add insult to injury, we sat outside and must have been next to a sewer pipe. Every ten minutes or so, this awful smell would come across the table. It was almost as if a Roto Rooter truck had gone by with an open valve which should have been shut.\r
The bottom line is this...save your money. I picked out this restaurant to celebrate my wife's and my 26th year wedding anniversary. Luckily, I picked my wife a lot better than I did this restaurant.
