Personal property must be watched closely, especially any cash, even small amounts. A former employee stole money from me, and one current employee never returned two borrowed items (me dumb to loan!!!!!). I was verbally attacked 3 times by a female acting administrator, the gist so vague, I am still unsure what precipitated the tantrums!!! I am a retired Registered Nurse with Multiple Sclerosis, and not shy about constructive criticism if I deem it advisable in a
situation. 99 percent of workers are receptive and appreciative of any idea I offer to make their work easier. I had a 29 year career as a nurse, all evenings and nights. This place is kept immaculately clean !!!!!!!!!!!! Most noise is of a nature not controllable by personnel. Both a fire and major water leak in the ceiling pipes were very efficiently and promptly given appropriate attention. Most of the employees have a great sense of humor, valuable in a situation with many disoriented (varied degrees, changing, and unpredictable, sometimes even physically violent) residents. Physical therapy options and personnel are outstanding, as are their managing company! Food is delicious and individual preferances given utmost consideration and effort. Department Heads are always available to addess and solve any problems expressed. Personal services (such as mail delivery and phone messages, errands, shopping, laundry) are given careful attention, with assistance as necessary. Holiday parties, bingo, and other interesting recreational occasions are given much effort, including holiday decorations. I'd rather be at home, but Mabry is the one if you have need for a nursing home, or temporary rehab! Drop by and take a look for yourself!!!
