I recently ate at J. Christopher's with some friends for brunch. We had a reasonable wait for a table but that was about the only positive thing about our experience. The server was awful and had to be called over many, many times to take care of the most basic things, i.e., to take our order, refill our drinks, etc. Furthermore, our party of four (4) had been sitting for about twenty minutes (20) before the server took our order, and then we had to wait for more than forty-five (45) minutes while seeing other, larger parties (who arrived and/or ordered after us I might add) received their food and were eating long before we finally got sick and tired of waiting and asked for a manager. We finally got our food and proceeded to eat when one of our party found a very long hair in their food. This was the last straw. Not only did the manager fail to deal with the situation in a manner appropriate to the situation, but she offered very little in terms of an apology or reasonable customer service. I had heard great things about J. Christopher's in the past and had dined at other locations but not again.
