How utterly disappointing!! When will someone open up a decent Greek restaurant. This place was awful! Actually I came home and was ill. The spanakopeta was prepared (probably frozen) in a puff pastry, the same with the feta tyropita, rather than the phyllo dough, and both were rather barren on ingredients. I ate the spankopeta hoping for better taste with each bite -- quite to the contrary. The typopita I took one bite and left. The salad was tasteless, with a heavy oil side dressing (very cheap olive oil) which I tasted once and left; the falafel was burnt and hard, the dolmades were also tasteless (ate one). Several squares of old, cheap feta rounded out the meal. My husband's meal was not any better with an oily ""grilled"" salmon steak (it had the appearance of grilling at least), another tasteless salad (I took a bite and agreed), and some side veggies directly from CostCo. This place had a great review in the S.F. Chronicle or Contra Costa Times about a year ago. One can only guess how that happened!! I cook Greek food, and my dishes (I'm a nonprofessional) far exceed anything I was served this evening. My recommendation is, if you want to waste some money and taste a very poor representation of Greek food, then go. Otherwise, find a friend who knows how to prepare the dishes and, in exchange for a great bottle of wine and doing the cleanup, eat some real Greek food.
Pros: waterfront location / customer service
Cons: food
