We came here on a Sat night because my girlfriend was dying to try the place. The vibe always looked nice and the menu seemed interesting. When we arrived, the place was not crowded. Nevertheless, we had to wait an hour for our entrees. In fact the server brought us dessert menus before we even received our food! The owner comped us dessert, so no hard feelings. As to the food - it was okay. But I have had better Israeli food for half the price. I guess you are paying for the 5th Avenue location. Also, be careful if you order the burekas. The filling was so hot, I actually burned my mouth (and have blisters on my lip as proof!!)\r

All in all, despite the wait and blisters, it was okay. The owner was nice and seemed to be trying. And the decor/vide is nice (lighting is good). I wouldn't go out of my way though.\r
