Trying out new restaurants in town is cool, but when I am in the mood to go somewhere where I know I'll be well taken care of and have consistently good food, the New Yorker is my favorite place. The hostesses are all hot (and are actually capable of having a conversation) and the bartenders are pretty chill. The key is to not be intimidated by the ultra fancy decor and just pretend you're among friends. If you don't feel like a big elaborate dinner, you can go casual - their burgers are awesome! Despite what I used to think about the place, there are actually some really good deals. The service can be a little slower on show nights when it's packed, but it's worth the wait.
Pros: Friendly Staff, Good Food
