This location is dynamite and provides a breath taking view of NYC, this is something all can agree upon. I made reservations for 2 @ 6:45 on a beautiful fall Saturday evening. Upon arrival, my girl and I waited in a line for 20 minutes just to speak with the maiterdee. Confident the ""Reserve"" in Reservations meant a set table, a bottle of wine, and some decent food was only a few minutes away I was blown away when I was handed a beeper and an hour plus waiting time. Thinking a few drinks at the bar could pass the time my girl and I tried to belly up only to be told we were not allowed in as the maximum capacity had filled the room. Not surprisingly we left the establishment shortly thereafter. Not one apology was offered at any time. In my eyes, character counts and the Chart House showed its true colors when my girl and I tried to follow up on our reservations. While the views are spectacular the people skills are horrendous. I'm a seller of the Chart House.
