Which is a good thing. Was in town to party in Nashville from New York, and asked a friend where to go for BBQ. He recommended Judge Bean's. My wife was nervous of this out of the way end of 12th street place, but it was a Saturday afternoon and I walked in to a lot of ugly pumpkin colored shirts and the Oklahoma vs Texas game on TV. Made for a great afternoon. I ordered the sampler platter and that ended up being perfect for a tourist because I had about 8 different options. The ribs were amazing, the shrimp thingy I ate was delicious, brisket melted in your mouth, sauce was spicy and zesty but went great with beer. Only parts I didn't like was order first, pay at window, bring food. Kind of a gourmet fast food, but the taste was worth that minor inconvenience. I like sitting down, being lazy, and being waited on. Still want one opened in NY.
Pros: Great BBQ
Cons: Pay First and Seat Yourself
