My wedding dress was complicated to shorten -- it had a lace overlay as well as a satin undergarment. In the end, the edging had to be hand-unsewn and then hand-sewn back onto the dress. However, not only was this done beautifully, the bustle was amazing and SO easy to tie/untie, and the price for the work done was so incredibly reasonable! She also shortened my sister's bridesmaid dress and did a beautiful job there, as well. I would recommend her work without hesitation.
