Rude Owner and Poor Service. Had Sunday brunch at Bello Sguardo. After waiting almost 1 hour for our food and seeing that tables that came 20-30 minutes after us received their food before us, our patience was running out. We told our waitress (who was very nice) our frustration as we were still waiting for our food (simple eggs benedict). She told the owner who then went into the kitchen and came back 10 minutes later (doesn't take the long to poach eggs) wiht our food, but NO apology. I expressed to him that this type of service was unprofessional and unacceptable and he gave us a very curt and rude response saying that things happen and that there was a mix up b/c they were so busy (restaurant was 1/3 full) and then walked away. To top off his rude response, the eggs benedict meal was small portioned and mediocre. Definitely will never go back... Pros: nice waitress Cons: rude owner, slow and shoddy service more
