Alright, I'll admit it: I moved to Uptown for Marczyk's. It was on the top of the list of places in the neighborhood which looked hip enough for this east coast (Miami) transplant. Thankfully, the content lives up to the fascade! The folks at Marczyk's, from the owner to the butcher, are friendly and knowledgable. Though the selection may seem limited, this is not a supermarket. Each item is carefully chosen (in fact, when the chickens at the local egg farm went on strike, there was an apology note for having to sell what another big chain boutique market considers their ""top shelf"" eggs).
Pros: Friendly staff, top quality meat and cheese, one of Denver's best wine shops.
Cons: Limited produce section.
