We had problems w this salon from the beginning. From booking, adding 15% mandatory gratuity, requiring half down after I had already Pd the $100 deposit asked of me previously. The owner did work w me on certain things & they did get me an itinerary. My wax was good except the room was so cold that the wax was drying too fast. My husbands massage was good. All 13 women arrived staggered through the day. My MOH was first w the owner who scheduled her a mere 30 min for a wedding updo w no consult. MOH was unhappy & asked her to fix things...they exchanged words & the MOH left when the owner said to her "I am sorry you don't like it but I don't have time to fix it." The next group arrived & had the pleasure of listening to the staff (front desk $ owner) trash talking the MOH. It was like the stylists were only concerned with getting us in & out of there in 30 min. I was having a massage with nasal man, really hard to relax when someone is breathing through his nose like it was his last breath. I then went over to my body scrub (which she had never been trained to do, per the owner to co-worker) where I ended up with soaked clothes. The esthetician & I talked about how my bridal party liked MAC & it was an evening wedding so it needed to be dramatic. All I had seen was day makeup, she said "oh, well I don't wear make up in the day so to me that is evening make up." She also shared that she doesn't really do make up but she does have a license to. Their brochure offers a make up artist, she was definitely not that. I had to tell her to make the foundation darker because of the flash photography. Red circles on the apples of the checks for blush. Her selection of make up was a kit you get at Costco for Xmas. Thank goodness we're in the salon industry, we had to redo everyones make up & all except 1 girls hair. We got quantity not quality jobs, the owner was very unprofessional.
Pros: Cute place, very clean, good location
Cons: unprofessional, selling services that staff was not properly trained for
