It's hard to believe the postings that rate this restaurant so highly - probably employees or owners postings. There is no such thing as an off night here. The staff and owners will soon suffer a loss of business as a result of their rude behavior. The fish isn't always that fresh (we get fresher fish in Florida including Ahi and Ono from Hawaii), the rice is hard (been there 2 times just to make sure it wasn't an ""off night"").
If I were to compare it to another restaurant it reminds me of the Sushi found in the basement of a train station (take your choice). In my honest opinion I think you can get better food, at much more reasonable prices, and much better service at Bennihanna's in Burlingame. They'll never see me here again.
Pros: they have sushi, they have sushimi, they serve alcohol
Cons: sushi isn't so good, sushimi isn't so good, service is terrible
