Your choices for fine dining in Vancouver, WA are quite limited. Hudson's is one of the few places to escape from the ordinary. The atmosphere is pleasent & the menu is nicely varied. We started with the soup sampler (local mushroom, smoked chicken corn chowder, butternut squash) and the seafood cakes with goat chees and air dried tomatoes. Both were very good. For our entrees we tried the Lamb Shank with barley & wild mushrooms and the Ribeye with yukon mashers, grilled baby carrots and asparagus. Both were well prepared. The lamb was fall-off-the-bone tender. For dessert, the chocolate caramel pecan cake. Wine list features many local wines. Good service - nice meal - we'll be back.
