In requesting a receipt that had been promised by an employee two months prior, I was told with extreme condescension that they ""don't issue thank you notes for payment."" I replied that I only wanted some proof of payment so that I could get reimbursed through worker's compensation. The supervisor went on, not only refusing to follow up on what I had already been promised, but treating me with shocking rudeness, the likes of which I have never encountered with businesses.
