I never understood the thing about the roast beef on Thursdays that had co-workers eager to make it to this grungy diner at noon. Then I tried it. For reasons that are completely to me the roast beef from a very ordinary cut of meat matches anything anywhere by any chef but only if it is rare. Well done is as awful as the rare is good. You have to time things right. We seldom do these days as I am retired and try to miss the crowd.
Food good, people pleasant, prices great. Don't look for ambience. You won't find it.
