Great Stop On I95 To or From Florida 9/11/2005

The Quality Inn & Suites in Lumberton, North Carolina caught my eye as we drove south because of billboard advertising $59.95 a night and a free breakfast. With four kids, it might mean we would need two rooms. The desk clerk couldnt have been more pleasant. He checked us in and gave us electronic key-cards. We drove around the two-story building with interior corridors. Instead of two rooms we selected a suite. This was $89.95 with my AAA discount. It consisted of two double beds, and a convertible queen sofa in a walled-off part of the room. There was also a microwave and small refrigerator in the room along with a table and two chairs. Televisions were present in both sections of the suite with a good selection of channels. Other features were a 4-cup coffee-maker and an alarm clock on the table between the two double beds along with the phone and a lamp for reading. We had no problems sleeping, and the beds were fairly comfortable. No noises from the highway woke us through more
