Angeles has public ranges for pistol (out to 100 yards) and rifle (up to 200 for paper targets, and out to 700 for steel) with reasonable prices for Los Angeles. In addition there are many private ranges for law enforcement and specialized interests (such as sillouette shooting) and that can be rented out by private groups. Matches are help there several times a month on the weekends, and on Wednesdays after 4:30 the enterance fee is half off. The range does not rent firearms, but it does have a reasonable selection of ammo for sale. In addition there is a pretty good reloading store on the premises.
