I called around town once, looking to sell some crystal. Every other place that I called gave me "ballpark" estimates over the phone. The Silver Queen refused to do so, even when I requested that they just assume that the crystal was in "mint" condition, with my understanding that the price/value would be less if the items had any flaws, etc. They said that I needed to bring the merchandise in for them to see before they would give me an estimate. So I trekked over there one day, and they refused to even look at my items, because I did not have an appointment - - even though the person on the phone never told me that I needed to have one. All of the staff that I encountered, both in-store and on the phone, were snobbish and a bit rude. I got the impression that they felt that I was not worthy of their time or attention.
PROS: Pretty merchandise is attractively displayed in the store.
CONS: Rude, snobbish staff.
