When I first moved out to Madison, I stayed at Extended Stay for a few days. Although the room wasn't very expensive and the service staff friendly, the bedding was rock hard and the kitchen equipment they provided was nearly worthless. Depending on what you are looking for in terms of short-term lodging, the benefits might outweigh the cons for this place.
