Tryg's came highly recommended by two friends, so I was excited to try it for my birthday. We were totally underwhelmed. Spicy onion rings weren't the least bit spicy. Very disappointing. Nice and crispy, but very, very greasy -- served with basic ketchup -- no spice at all aside from salt. Vegetarian platter sounded interesting, though we're not vegetarians. Selections were heavy and overly salted. Brussels sprouts were tough and bitter in heavy cheese based sauce. Crab cake was just okay -- the heavy creamy texture overwhelmed what may have been a very nice sauce with a nice white fish. The sweet corn cakes were so heavily fried that I couldn't taste the sweet corn flavor. The worst $80 meal (for two) that we've ever had. (At least the Chianti was nice.)
