I don't understand the negative reviews. This is the best damn Japanese food ever! I've had world travelers tell me this is the best sushi they've ever eaten. Prices are pretty average and the pieces are huge. The waitstaff and sushi chefs are real characters, especially Pat who always has a great joke to tell you. This is not fast food! Since sushi is labor intensive the sushi chef gets a little backed up at peak hours Friday and some Saturdays. The ambience is authentic 70's, so no need for the retro furnishings of newer hip restaurants.
