So the friendly servers sometimes forgot about us. Still, we've been there twice and I'd go back again. Skip the appetizers--the entrees are large. Try a Lime Wash, a Red Stripe beer, or the big rum drink in a real coconut. Enjoy the fabulous toto bread they bring to the table. Try the Mo Bay Escovich Fish or the Rastaman Runabout (?)--fish, simmered in coconut milk and spices--with gunga peas on the side. After dinner, avoid dessert. Tried the spendy Jamaican Blue coffee--oddly unremarkable, except in price. Next time, tried the regular coffee--old and burnt-tasting, something I can't excuse in Portland. Server tried to discourage me from ordering dessert (couldn't recommend any of them). English influences mean many of the dessert offerings run toward heavy, baked puddings. My misfortune was a baked ginger cake, like a rock. Good for throwing, not eating. Always listen to your server! Pros: Fun,Tropical & Exotic, One-of-a-kind foods, Friendly, open vibe Cons: A bit hard to find, Inattentive waitstaff, No great desserts more
