ambience. .. The food & sauces are comparable to any barbecue place, anyWHERE, and have compared the competition (in different states) to what Vince has to offer. .. Maurice (Bessinger), in Columbia, SC, has an exceptional MUSTARD-based sauce, but his ribs are NOT the equal of Staten's, to be sure. .. Vince's side dishes, incl. the banana pudding, are very fine, and the ribs & pulled-pork are as fine as anyone else, even in the highly-regarded states (TX, SC, NC, etc.) have to offer.
