Heard so much about this place. Decided on a whim to try it out. Left scratching my head, "why is this place so highly rated?".
Had 2 appetizers. Gambas al Ajillo (not spicy but flavorful) and Calimari. Calimari was too soft and chewy. Breading wasn't deep fried enough.
My friend had the Jambalaya as an entree. Wasn't spicy, nor flavorful. Never thought I'd have a bland Jambalaya...ever.
I had a swordfish dish that was not worth the $24.00. It was just....ok.
Very very crowded and not good for a date. (as we were next to a couple on a date and heard every word of their conversation) Service was slow and below par (at least they didn't mess up our order).
Truly thumbs down.
Pros: Location to , better restaurants
Cons: crowded, expensive, difficult parking
