The beginning house salads were amazing, from the goat cheese to the dressing. Fancier than your average house salad.
My mom had the roasted pork, which was recommended to her by our waitress. It was literally falling off the bone - absolutely magnificent. I enjoyed the filet minion, which was topped with maytag blue cheese, red onions, and came served with potato puree.
The service was great. Supposedly, we had the two best servers in the house. When we came back a second time for lunch, they remembered us. We were seated quickly but it is best to make reservations, as most people did and we just happened to get lucky in being seated.
FYI, Roux 3 has an excellent cobb salad, my fave lunchtime dish. I devoured the entire thing and they were sooooo generous with the blue cheese.
Pros: excellent food, caring staff, nice ambiance
Cons: food can take awhile, noisy
