Bemis Farms offers a preschool program that strives to prepare kids both socially and academically for kindergarten. It is definitely a preschool and not a daycare. The kids are exposed to numbers, letters, colors, shapes, and all of the normal preschool information but Bemis Farms goes far beyond the norm by encorporating a strong science program. Bemis sits on a beautiful piece of land and the children are exposed to nature on a daily basis. Physical activity is also an integral part of the daily activities.
The staff is reliable, caring, and diverse. Both men and women hold positions as teachers which provides a rare opportunity for parents searching for a male role model in a preschool environment. Additionally, many races are represented in both the staff and student population which provides a diverse and culturally-sensitive environment. The cost is on the high-end but if you can afford it, it is definitely a good investment.
