This bakery is located on Gibbon's Road in Bird In Hand, Pa. Its a little out of the way, but follow the signs on Rt. 340, or the map that's always in the PA Dutch Traveler's Guide(available just about everywhere there!) and you'll find it pretty easy. And you'll be glad you did!
This bakery is Mennonite owned and operated and the baked goods are delicious! And the prices are very reasonable!
They have very good Shoo-Fly pie, yummy cookies and one of our other favorites, their cinnamon raisin bread iced with a tasty sweet white fluffy icing! They also have great whoopie pies and so many treats to choose from!
They don't just sell baked good either.
You can also purchase, souvieners, wooden crafts, 'canned' goods like chow-chow, apple butter, jams and jellys and more! Even handmade PA Dutch noodles!
They also have fresh coffee by the cup and wonderful homemade ice cream. PLUS, outside, there is a small petting zoo for the kids!
