Louisville Slugger Field is one of the best places Ive ever been to see professional baseball -- even better than many major league parks. The smaller size makes it just right for being able to see the game up-close and youll be hard pressed to find a more attractive and clean venue.
Slugger Field is housed behind the facade of an old, refurbished warehouse on Main Street. This area of downtown is undergoing a major revitalization and its great to see people enjoying downtown. The concessions are excellent -- with a wide variety of food and beverages. And the Louisville Bats are usually a very entertaining team to watch. Theres a mascot for the kids, and even a carousel in the picnic area. Tickets are pretty inexpensive, so this is a great way to spend time with the whole family!
