I went to enterprise car rental, and had requested a 6 passenger vehicle, i had called the 800 number before going to get an estimate of the price. When they told me, it was surely more then half the price that I was quoted over the telephone. Once I asked why the difference I was told they work different then us. I left and made the reservation through the 800 number, and returned back to the vehicle at the price I was told originally. I have been told since, car rental companies try to rent the vehicles to you at the higher price and that is how they get their commission.
