Crogans is a full menu restaurant with an ecclectic selection of entrees. Some of its specialties, all of which I've tried and enjoyed, are: lamb shanks on mashed potatoes (to die for); fish and chips (best in the Bay Area); BBQ ribs (lean and mean); and sirloin and salad (the low carb delight). Crogans is a bar and grill, with a huge bar clientele that tends to the noisy side...so this is not your nice quiet interlude spot. But it's bearable back in the booths away from the bar. The service is very good; the waiters are well trained and attentive. All in all, this is a place worth the cost and worth going back over and over, which I have been doing for years.
