I was looking forward to enjoying a polynesian meal when my husband and I headed for the Omni Hut. The decorations are reminiscent of the South Seas but the resemblence stops there. I lived for two years in Samoa - a close neighbor of Hawaii - and the food served at the Omni Hut is absolutely the farthest you can get from polynesian food! I was expecting taro root and seafood but was instead bombarded with the worst Chinese food I've ever had. If you like grocery store LaChoy entrees, don't get your hopes up because this food - while resembling LaChoy - was worse! From the tasteless and tough ""riblets"" to the crunchy Chinese noodles (yes, the kind you put in a green bean casserole) covering the chicken chow mein with a Campbell's soup base, nothing was edible! Save your $40 and eat at a real Chinese restaurant.
Pros: Absolutely none
Cons: Everything
