I was so impressed by Miriam. It's not the typical Mediterranean or Middle Eastern fare one might expect. There isn't one ball of falafel in the place! It's a creative mixing of all the delicious flavors and fragrances of the region into wonderful upscale cuisine. Everything was fresh, delicious and unique. The atmosphere is soothingly warm and exotic and to top it all off, there's entertainment: a wonderful little quartet playing earthy Middle Eastern music and a lovely belly dancer tastefully gyrating about. Even if you don't live around the corner (as I do) I think it's worth a trip.
