I spent over an hour on my day off going over what I wanted to do (for a $39 fee) and then waited over a month for the written bid, which I still have not received. I finally asked for a firm date for the bid and the work if accepted or else I would go to someone else. He decided to dump me due to his very busy workload and the complexity of my requests - he was apparently overwhelmed by some questions and options that I asked him to consider when writing the bid, and didnt like the idea that my dad was double checking things for me. Would have been nice to know that 5 weeks ago. He offered to refund my $39, but that's a lot of wasted time for me. He seems very diligent and a good person if you just keep it really simple.
