Family Bakery is my favorite Middle Eastern restaurant in metro Detroit! I have eaten just about everything they offer, and I have never been disappointed. Perhaps the best part is that it's easy to get a great lunch (they aren't open for dinner) for only $5. The restaurant offers daily specials during the week (Friday is my favorite) as well as old favorites like shwarma, falafel, and hummus. Family bakery is small and offers better service at the counter than in the dining area, but the food is always terrific.
