Let me preface this and all other reviews that I am a SoCal transplant, so my opinion as it relates to sushi outside of California is going to be a bit hard to impress. Bottom line, I found my experience at Szechuan Tokyo, ""tolerable"". The rice was dry and almost crunchy, the fish was ""normal"" nothing unique in the preperation, the wasabe was extremely spicy (which I happen to enjoy), but overwhelms the overall sensation of the fish (which may be a good thing in this case); our waiter could not speak or understand english and it took us many times to clarify our order; he took my chopsticks on two seperate occasions, forcing me to ask for new ones, and my water was always empty. The sushi itself was like I said just normal, not bad, not good, just edible. The ambiance was crap! Pros: good parking, plenty of seats, no wait time Cons: dry rice, poor service, average food more
