I've been going to Gladstone's 4 Fish for over 15 years since a friend took me when I first moved to L.A. It is a great casual place to have fun and hangout on the deck with a cocktail and some xlarge king crab legs. It's not about fine dining - it's a casual beach atmosphere. I always bring visitors to the restaurant and they love it. One of the best kept secrets is breakfast at Gladstones. It is a more peaceful time to visit this always busy establishment and I have watched the dolphins swim by on several occasions. In the fall the pelicans flock to the beach. The servers have always treated us kindly. Amy and Meredyth always take good care of me at breakfast. The best tip I can give those who whine about the wait? Make a reservation! I've learned that it really does help.
