Gabriels is, in my opinion, the best Mexican/New Mexican restaurant in New Mexico. The food is delicious, fresh, innovative, and flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic; yet they make little kids feel right at home. The price is also quite reasonable. The only problem is that it is off the beaten path, located in Northern New Mexico, halfway between Santa Fe and Los Alamos. But if you are within 50 miles of the area, it is definitely worth the drive! I HIGHLY recommend the guacamole, freshly prepared at your table.
