Barnes and Noble is clean, and they have a friendly staff. Some of the books can be expensive, but they usually have some reasonable sale items up front. Also, if you go in after Christmas, they mark calendars down to 90% off, and you can get really good deals. They have chairs scattered about so you can sit down and read. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, because it's not a library and I don't know why they would want people to sit there and read the books without having to buy them. But, it does come in handy if you want to take a load off and look through some books. They also have a little cafe with a cappuccino bar and desserts from the Cheesecake Factory.
