I think permanent contraception is wrong. And because the Minnesota Gynecology & Surgery center does studies testing permanent contraception on other controversial procedures, I had serious reservations about whether or not to receive care there. But the deciding factor was that I had serious health problems that could only be addressed by surgery, and Dr. Presthus of MNGYN seemed like the most qualified doctor I could find. When I came to see him at his office, he made sure I knew exactly what my options were, and once I made my decision, he made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen. There is a great deal of comfort in knowing that the same doctor you see in the office is going to be the one performing your surgery. I felt completely at ease in his care. The surgery went great, with no complications at all. I fully recovered, and I am grateful to Dr. Presthus for his care.
