I was very pleasantly surprised about the quality and selection of sushi at Little Tokyo. I would have never have thought that I'd find a decent place in San Dimas. Especially after having tried 2 other places which were very dissappointing. I wasn't expecting much because most businesses are more on the level of jumping on the Japanese/Sushi fad (all you can eat, poor quality, crazy types of rolls, etc). What stands out is exp: 20+ yrs of the restaurant, and the 12 yrs of exp. of the sushi chef. To add more value is the very reasonable prices ($4 ankimo) and larger selection of sushi items - aji!! hard to find in Americanized restaurants that only have the typical ingredients. Aside from sushi ingredients, the nigiri and sushi shari are a night-and-day difference from the ""let's do a Japanese restaurant concept"". Little Tokyo is a Japanese Restaurant.
