This is a great spot for the carnivores in the Capital Region. The menu is limited, but they do things very well. Steaks, chops, chateaubriand and prime ribs (the last two for four and by reservation only), are large, well prepared and sure to please.
Appetizers are good but the salads are uninspired (like many steakhouses). My only ""beef"" is the lack of menu items for folks who aren't in the mood for a massive hunk of meat. Scallops and salmon are the only seafood options and there is a daily chicken special. A shrimp or lobster entree would be nice.
Since I'm always on the lookout for a tasty piece of beef, I love it! I just wish they were open more than four days a week (Wed - Sat)...
