Poor service, average food, and pretentious pricing. With most dishes costing more than $10 (even for "small plates"), they're charging upscale San Francisco restaurant prices for essentially the same type of food that's available for at least 1/3 less at Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai restaurants in San Francisco neighborhoods like the Sunset and Richmond. $12 for a relatively small portion of pad thai? $8 for "traditional" Vietnamese fresh pork/shrimp spring rolls? Gimme a break. But at these prices, they should at least change silverware with each course. Our waitress was clueless about the menu. I even had to stop our waitress from taking away an unfinished dish. Our over-eager waitress eventually prevailed and took away my half-filled glass of beer. Three Seasons is good enough for East Bay surburbanites who don't care to venture out to San Francisco for good, authentic food at reasonable prices. more
