The Silverton isn't the Venetian, so I can't give it a 5 star, but it's a great, low hassle place to stay. The rooms are affordable despite the fact that they've just been remodled and look great, the casino is small but you won't get lost, the restaurants and buffet are great and you won't want to miss their absolutely huge outdoor sportsman shop. They recently redid the Silverton and gave it an lodge feel to it. It works and for locals or tourists, it's a place you'll want to revisit.
PROS: Type of place you can get to know and call your own
CONS: Way off strip, don't stay here unless you have a rental car
