PetCo features a large selection of small mammals, and that's what chiefly distinguishes this pet supplier from many of its competitors that only sell birds and/or reptiles and fish. That and the prices. Pricing at PetCo is not competitive by any means, so a wise consumer would shop around. This location is fairly new, and my few experiences there have not been positive, owing not only to the inflated prices but also to a generally unhelpful staff. Still, it's a big, bright, clean pet store, and anything your average pet owner requires can be found all in one spot. Plus, they have a discount card system, much like the ubiquitous grocery store card programs, and that's gotta be worth something.
